Premier League top team - Minsk-2006 (21-1) added another victory to their record on Tuesday. This time they beat fifth ranked SBK Osipovichi (8-15) 85-78. The guests took control from the first minutes by winning the initial quarter 31-23. But SBK Osipovichi won second period 19-17. However it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Minsk-2006 made 16-of-21 free shots (76.2 percent) during the game. Minsk-2006 outrebounded SBK Osipovichi 44-27 including a 31-18 advantage in defensive rebounds. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 21 assists. International guard Aliaksandr Kudrautsau (190-80) fired 12 points and 9 assists for the winners. The former international forward Aliaksei Lashkevich (204-78) chipped in a double-double by scoring 11 points and 10 rebounds. Five Minsk-2006 players scored in double figures. Minsk-2006's coach Andrei Krivonos used a ten-player rotation which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. The former international center Yury Mishukov (205-85) produced 18 points and 9 rebounds and the former international point guard Siarhei Charykau (184-82, college: Yakima Valley CC) added 13 points and 8 assists respectively for lost side. Minsk-2006 have an impressive nine-game winning streak. Defending champion maintains first position with 21-1 record. SBK Osipovichi lost third consecutive game. They dropped to the sixth place with 15 games lost. Minsk-2006 will meet at home Rubon (#3) in the next round, which may be the game of the day. SBK Osipovichi will play against BGUIR-RTI in Minsk and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
