Bottom-ranked Sozh Gomel (0-23) is still winless. This time they could not use their home court advantage losing their 23th consecutive match to third ranked Rubon (13-10) 84-60. The game without a history. Rubon led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They also forced 30 Sozh Gomel turnovers. Worth to mention a great performance of forward Viktor Ovsepian (200-91) who helped to win the game recording 13 points and 7 rebounds. The former international guard Dmitri Akulich (192-86) contributed with 12 points and 5 assists for the winners. Akulich is a former Eurobasket Summer League player, which is considered top international summer league in the market. Four Rubon players scored in double figures. Rubon maintains third position with 13-10 record having seven points less than leader Minsk-2006. Sozh Gomel at the other side still closes the standings. Rubon's next round opponent will be league's leader Minsk-2006 on the road and it will be for sure the game of the week.
