Finals Game 3: FoKoPo - Lapua 107-78

The game was mostly controlled by Forssan Koripojat. Lapuan Korikobrat managed to win fourth quarter 21-15. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Forssan Koripojat dominated down low during the game scoring 58 of its points in the paint compared to Lapuan Korikobrat's 34 and made 19-of-21 free shots (90.5 percent) during the game. They outrebounded Lapuan Korikobrat 47-26 including a 33-14 advantage in defensive rebounds. It was a good game for American forward Tracy Robinson (201-86, college: Loyola, IL) who led his team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 27 points and 10 rebounds (went 8 for 8 at the free throw line). Guard Sami Ikavalko (188-89) contributed with 20 points, 5 rebounds and 5 assists for the winners. Guard Jussi Turja (193-90) answered with 19 points and American forward Eric Williams (198-85, college: Tarleton St.) added 17 points and 6 rebounds in the effort for Lapuan Korikobrat. Five Forssan Koripojat and four Lapuan Korikobrat players scored in double figures. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games.
