Aanekosken outrebounded Peli-Karhut 56-34 including a 41-25 advantage in defensive rebounds. American center Kenya Robinson (182-70, college: New Orleans) nailed a double-double by scoring 11 points and 11 rebounds for the winning side and her fellow American import guard Dee Jernigan (183, college: Xavier) accounted for 12 points and 9 rebounds. Four Aanekosken players scored in double figures. International guard Reetta Piipari (170-80, college: Xavier) came up with 18 points and 4 assists and American-Puerto Rican forward Yolanda Jones (184-84, college: La-Lafayette) added 7 points and 11 rebounds respectively for Peli-Karhut in the defeat.
