Bottom-ranked Lietkabelis managed to get a fourth victory, breaking the four-game losing streak on Friday night. This time they won against tenth-ranked Naglis Palangos in Panevezys 85-78. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of Naglis Palangos. The game without a history. Lietkabelis led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They made 18-of-21 free shots (85.7 percent) during the game. Lietkabelis looked well-organized offensively handing out 24 assists. The winners were led by center Vaidas Cepukaitis (207-89, agency: Interperformances) who scored that evening 19 points and 6 rebounds (on 8-of-10 shooting from the field) and guard Sarunas Vasiliauskas (188-89, agency: Alti Sport) supported him with 14 points and 7 assists. Lietkabelis (4-15) moved-up to tenth place, which they share with Sakalai and Naglis Palangos. Lietkabelis will meet bottom-ranked Sakalai (#12) in the next round.
