Premier League top team - Minsk-2006 (23-1) had no problems winning another game on Friday. This time they crushed seventh ranked Sozh Gomel (0-24) 110-69. The game without a history. Minsk-2006 led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. Minsk-2006 forced 28 Sozh Gomel turnovers and outrebounded them 46-25 including a 18-6 advantage in offensive rebounds. The best player for the winners was the former international center Aleh Kojenets (208-77, college: NC-Wilmington, agency: New Trend Agency) who scored 19 points and 5 rebounds. The former international forward Aliaksei Lashkevich (204-78) chipped in 15 points and 8 rebounds. Five Minsk-2006 players scored in double figures. Center Igor Drobyshevskiy (206-93) produced 22 points and 9 rebounds and point guard Yahor Patupchyk (186-94) added 10 points respectively for the hosts. Since the result was very predictable, it gave the chance for the coaches to test many bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. The victory was the eleventh consecutive win for Minsk-2006. Defending champion maintains first place with 23-1 record. Sozh Gomel lost their eighteenth game in a row.
