There was no surprise when 7th ranked BK Loko Plzen (10-30) was crushed on the road by third ranked Basketbal Svitavy (18-22) 78-58 on Saturday. The game without a history. Basketbal Svitavy led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. Basketbal Svitavy outrebounded BK Loko Plzen 52-39 including a 39-27 advantage in defensive rebounds. Great defensive blocking was one of the keys in this match when Basketbal Svitavy made 7 blocks. The best player for the winners was Congolese-French forward Boris Meno (203-83, college: Davidson, agency: Two Points) who had a double-double by scoring 10 points and 11 rebounds. point guard Tomas Macela (179-88) chipped in 8 points, 5 rebounds and 8 assists. Forward Ladislav Pecka (197-91) produced 12 points and 6 rebounds and power forward Jaroslav Kovanda (204-82) added 10 points and 7 rebounds respectively for the guests.
