No shocking result in a game when first ranked NH Ostrava (26-14) smashed on the road 4th ranked Levharti Chomutov (16-24) 84-57 on Saturday. The guests trailed by 16 points after three quarters before their 84-57 charge, which allowed them to win the game. NH Ostrava forced 23 Levharti Chomutov turnovers and outrebounded them 35-22 including 26 on the defensive glass. The best player for the winners was point guard Adam Ciz (190-91) who scored 11 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists. Greek power forward Savvas Manousos (208-85) chipped in 14 points and 7 rebounds. Forward Jakub Krakovic (205-90) produced 17 points and 6 rebounds and center Jan Stepanek (204-83) added 14 points respectively for the hosts. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. NH Ostrava have an impressive 13-game winning streak. They maintain first position in A2 with 26-14 record. Newly promoted Levharti Chomutov keeps the fourth place with 24 games lost. Both teams do not play next round, which will be an opportunity for some rest.
