Obras won the Group E of Liga Americas with perfect 3-0 record and booked a spot for the Final Four. The Argentinean squad outplayed Pioneros on Sunday 84-76 to end as No.1. Both squads had 2-0 before this meeting, so Pioneros finished as the second ranked team of this pool and also booked a spot for the final tournament. Both teams have said they will seek to host the final round, which due to the bidding process has been rescheduled to be played in April 27 to 29. Alexis Elsener led Obras in scoring with 21 points, while Tony Washam added 16 points and 10 rebounds. Juan Gutierrez scored 12 points and grabbed 7 rebounds. Jovan Harris had 19 points for Pioneros and Orlando Mendez-Valdez added 11 pts, plus 6 rebounds. Brody Angley also scored 11 pts for the Mexicans. Quarters: 19-22, 18-19, 23-16, 24-19.
