Tarvas gave no chance for visiting Tin Kalev in the opener. The hosts trailed by 3 points after first quarter, but they stormed back to get the 7-point lead at the halftime and eventually won the game 94-76. Latvian center Kaspars Cipruss (210-82, agency: Interperformances) fired a double-double by scoring 20 points and 14 rebounds for the winners. Latvian point guard Rinalds Sirsnins (186-85) chipped in 20 points and 9 assists. Five BC Rakvere players scored in double figures.
