Regular Season Round 73: Austin T. - Springfield A. 99-110

Jerry Smith scored a game-high 27 points and the Springfield Armor defeated the Austin Toros 110-99 Friday night. Smith got plenty of offensive support from Jeff Foote (20 points), L.D. Williams (20) and JamesOn Curry (19) to help the Armor end the Toros’ nine-game home win streak. The Armor (28-21) have already locked up a berth in the NBA D-League playoffs, but remain in a dogfight with three other teams for the top four spots in the Eastern Conference. Springfield finishes the regular season at the Texas Legends on Saturday (8 p.m.). They trail first-place Dakota (29-20) by one game.
