An interesting game for Brose Baskets (27-3) which played road game in Quakenbrueck against 4th ranked Artland Dragons (20-10). First ranked Brose Baskets had an easy win 83-68. It ended at the same time the three-game winning streak of Artland Dragons. The game without a history. Brose Baskets led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. American players dominated the game. It was a good game for forward Anthony Leon Tucker (198-85, college: Texas) who led his team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 32 points and 13 rebounds. Guard Brian Roberts (188-85, agency: Interperformances) contributed with 12 points and 5 assists for the winners. Guard David Holston (170-86, college: Chicago St.) replied with 20 points, 6 rebounds and 5 assists and center Darren Fenn (208-80, college: Canisius, agency: Limelight Hoops) added 14 points and 7 rebounds in the effort for Artland Dragons. Artland Dragons' coach rotated twelve players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Brose Baskets have a solid four-game winning streak. Defending champion maintains first position with 27-3 record. Artland Dragons at the other side keep the fourth place with ten games lost. Brose Baskets are looking forward to face s Oliver Baskets (#5) in Wuerzburg in the next round. Artland Dragons will play on the road against EnBW Ludwigsburg and are hoping to prove to their fans that the loss was just an accident.
