Rather predictable result when third ranked BK Decin (25-11) defeated on the road 6th ranked USK Praha (16-20) 67-62 on Saturday. The guests trailed by 6 points after first quarter, but they rallied back to get the 2-point lead at the halftime and eventually won the game 67-62. BK Decin outrebounded USK Praha 42-29 including 33 on the defensive glass. American power forward Dwight Burke (202-86, college: Marquette) scored 12 points and 8 rebounds to lead the charge for the winners and international forward Miroslav Soukup (200-82) chipped in 8 points and 9 rebounds during the contest. Burke is a former Eurobasket Summer League player, which is considered top international summer league in the market. BK Decin's coach allowed to play the deep bench players in such tough game. At the losing side Slovakian center Peter Sedmak (207-85) responded with 13 points and center Viktor Cvek (200-89) scored 12 points and 5 rebounds. BK Decin moved-up to second place, which they share with BK Prostejov. USK Praha lost third consecutive game. They keep the sixth position with 20 games lost.
