Semi-Finals Game 1: USK Praha - VS Praha 88-68

USK Praha posted the initial win in the semifinal series versus VS Praha. The hosts trailed by 5 points after first quarter, but they stormed back to get the 5-point lead at the halftime and eventually won the game 88-68. USK Praha dominated down low during the game scoring 62 of its points in the paint compared to VS Praha's 42. They outrebounded VS Praha 45-28 including a 20-5 advantage in offensive rebounds. American guard Lindsay Whalen (173-82, college: Minnesota) fired a double-double by scoring 12 points, 11 rebounds and 8 assists for the winners. The former international forward Eva Viteckova (190-82) chipped in 23 points. Four USK Praha players scored in double figures. USK Praha's coach Lubor Blazek used a ten-player rotation which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. International point guard Katerina Bartonova (173-90) produced 14 points and 6 assists and Belarusian point guard Alexandra Tarasava (170-88) added 11 points and 4 assists respectively for lost side.
