The game was mostly controlled by Torpan Pojat. Kauhajoen Karhu was better in second period 19-18. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. They outrebounded Kauhajoen Karhu 41-21 including a 34-17 advantage in defensive rebounds. Torpan Pojat shot the lights out from three nailing 12 long-distance shots on high 57.1 percentage. Kauhajoen Karhu was plagued by 26 personal fouls down the stretch. Americans were the main players on the court. Guard Chase Griffin (188-83, college: Pepperdine) nailed 24 points and 6 assists (made all of his nine free throws !!!) for the winning side and forward Justin Hawkins (201-85, college: N.Mexico St.) accounted for 22 points, 7 rebounds and 5 assists. Forward Kelly Beidler (199-88, college: Mt.St.Mary's, agency: R.H.Consultancy) came up with a double-double by scoring 22 points and 11 rebounds and point guard Clevin Hannah (180-87, college: Wichita St., agency: Court Side) added 16 points respectively for Kauhajoen Karhu in the defeat. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games.
