Very expected game when 18th ranked BG Goettingen (4-27) was edged at home by eleventh ranked Eisbaeren Bremerhaven (15-16) 82-80 on Wednesday. Eisbaeren Bremerhaven made 22-of-24 free shots (91.7 percent) during the game. It was a great evening for American guard Terrell Everett (193-84, college: Oklahoma, agency: Z.A.G. - Law Offices) who led his team to a victory scoring 20 points, 5 rebounds and 6 assists (made all of his seven free throws). His fellow American import forward Zachery Peacock (203-87, college: Georgia Tech, agency: Pro One Sports) helped adding 14 points and 9 rebounds. At the losing side Zimbabwean power forward Vitalis Chikoko (207-91) responded with a double-double by scoring 18 points and 11 rebounds and American guard Matt Bauscher (188-85, college: Boise St., agency: Scorers 1st Sportmanagement) scored 13 points and 6 assists (made all of his twelve free throws !!!). Five Eisbaeren Bremerhaven and four BG Goettingen players scored in double figures. Eisbaeren Bremerhaven moved-up to tenth place. BG Goettingen lost third consecutive game. They stay dead last with 27 lost games. Eisbaeren Bremerhaven will face EnBW Ludwigsburg (#15) at home in the next round which should be theoretically an easy game. BG Goettingen will play against Telekom Baskets in Bonn.
