It looked good early as KK Swiecie took an 11-point lead at the end of first quarter. But then Open Florentyna took control and eventually winning the game that evening by 41 points. They shot 66.2 percent from the field. Open Florentyna outrebounded KK Swiecie 39-23 including a 32-16 advantage in defensive rebounds. They shot the lights out from three nailing 14 long-distance shots on high 53.8 percentage. Open Florentyna players were unselfish on offense dishing 31 assists comparing to just 8 passes made by KK Swiecie's players. Power forward Wojciech Zurawski (199-76) nailed a double-double by scoring 22 points and 12 rebounds (on 9-of-10 shooting from the field) for the winning side and guard Marcin Stoklosa (188-77) accounted for 16 points and 14 assists. Five Open Florentyna players scored in double figures. Open Florentyna's coach Andrzej Kowalczyk felt very confident that he used 10 players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Guard Piotr Robak (192-91) came up with 21 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists and forward Mikolaj Grod (194-89) added 13 points and 5 rebounds respectively for KK Swiecie in the defeat.
