Tarvas booked ticket into the semifinal stage of the tournament. The hosts trailed by 2 points after first quarter, but they stormed back to get the 7-point lead at the halftime and eventually won the game 89-76. BC Rakvere made 17-of-21 free shots (81.0 percent) during the game. BC Rakvere outrebounded Tln Kalev 41-30 including 26 on the defensive glass. The best player for the winners was Latvian center Kaspars Cipruss (210-82, agency: Interperformances) who scored 23 points and 7 rebounds. Latvian swingman Juris Umbrasko (197-79) chipped in 18 points and 7 rebounds (on 7-of-9 shooting from the field). Four BC Rakvere players scored in double figures. At the other side the best for losing team was American guard Brandis Raley-Ross (188-87, college: S.Carolina) who recorded a double-double by scoring 23 points, 11 rebounds and 6 assists (went 7 for 7 at the free throw line) and Russian center Aleksei Fedortchuk (210-86, agency: Ryzhov Stanislav) added 17 points and 6 rebounds respectively. Tln Kalev's coach Indrek Reinbok rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help.
