Regular Season Round 26: Terme Olimia - Medvode 76-78

A very interesting game took place in Podcetrtek. It ended with only two-point home defeat of 7th ranked Terme Olimia (13-13) to ninth ranked Medvode (11-15) 78-76 on Saturday evening. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of Terme Olimia. Terme Olimia was ahead by 7 points after three quarters before a 22-13 charge of Medvode, which allowed them to win the game. The best player for the winners was Gasper Jeromen (-88) who scored 16 points. Forward Nik Gregorcic (195-90) chipped in 15 points and 5 rebounds. Medvode's coach Igor Keselj used entire bench in such tough game. Forward Uros Globovnik (198-87) produced 17 points and 9 rebounds (on 6-of-7 shooting from the field) and guard Robert Abramovic (185-88) added 17 points respectively for the hosts. Four Terme Olimia players scored in double figures. Medvode have a solid three-game winning streak. They moved-up to eighth place, which they share with Konjice and Hrastnik. Newly promoted Terme Olimia keeps the seventh position with 13 games lost.
