The game in Oliveira supposed to be also quite interesting. One of their biggest challengers Electrico FC (12-10) played at the court of fifth ranked Oliveirense (13-9). Oliveirense smashed Electrico FC 86-64 on Saturday. The hosts trailed by 7 points after first quarter, but they stormed back to get the 15-point lead at the halftime and eventually won the game 86-64. Oliveirense dominated on the defensive end, holding Electrico FC to just 7 points in second quarter. American forward Spencer Johnson (198-87, college: UMKC) had a double-double by scoring 26 points and 11 rebounds to lead the charge for the winners and swingman Renato Azevedo (186-91) chipped in 18 points and 5 rebounds during the contest. Oliveirense's coach Sergio Salvador felt very confident that he used 11 players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. At the losing side naturalized Cape Verdean swingman Mario Neves (190-77) responded with a double-double by scoring 12 points and 12 rebounds and guard Joao Lanzinha (188-89) scored 17 points and 7 rebounds. Oliveirense have a solid three-game winning streak. They moved-up to fourth place. Loser Electrico FC dropped to the fifth position with ten games lost.
