Quarter-Finals Round 3: Kauhajoki - ToPo 85-57

Date: April 14, 2012
The game without a history. Kauhajoen Karhu led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. Kauhajoen Karhu forced 22 Torpan Pojat turnovers. Strangely Torpan Pojat outrebounded Kauhajoen Karhu 40-27 including a 17-5 advantage in offensive rebounds. It was a quality performance for American forward Kelly Beidler (199-88, college: Mt.St.Mary's, agency: R.H.Consultancy) who led the winners and scored 21 points, 9 rebounds and 4 blocks. His fellow American import point guard Clevin Hannah (180-87, college: Wichita St., agency: Court Side) accounted for 18 points and 8 assists for the winning side. American guard Chase Griffin (188-83, college: Pepperdine) came up with 13 points and 6 rebounds (went 7 for 7 at the free throw line) and international forward Kimmo Muurinen (202-81, college: UALR) added 10 points respectively for Torpan Pojat in the defeat. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games.
