There was a surprise result in Oldenburg where eleventh ranked EWE Baskets (15-17) beat second-ranked ratiopharm Ulm (25-7) 84-80 on Sunday. ratiopharm Ulm was tied after three quarters but could not keep up in the last quarter eventually losing the game. EWE Baskets dominated down low during the game scoring 46 of its points in the paint compared to ratiopharm Ulm's 22. The best player for the winners was American power forward Adam Chubb (208-81, college: Pennsylvania, agency: Pro One Sports) who had a double-double by scoring 30 points and 15 rebounds. The other American import guard Bobby Brown (188-84, college: CS Fullerton, agency: Priority Sports) chipped in 14 points and 4 assists. Four EWE Baskets players scored in double figures.
