Tartu Ulikool left no chance for visiting Rapla to secure the first win in the series. The game without a history. Tartu Ulikool led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They dominated on the defensive end, holding Rapla to just 7 points in first quarter. Tartu Ulikool made 20-of-26 charity shots (76.9 percent) during the game. Tartu Ulikool had a 28-17 advantage in offensive rebounds. They shot the lights out from three nailing 16 long-distance shots on high 61.5 percentage. Tartu Ulikool players were unselfish on offense dishing 22 assists comparing to just 9 passes made by Rapla's players. Rapla was plagued by 27 personal fouls down the stretch. Worth to mention a great performance of international guard Kristo Saage (184-85) who helped to win the game recording 18 points, 9 rebounds and 4 assists. International forward Tanel Kurbas (197-88) contributed with 24 points for the winners. Five Tartu Ulikool players scored in double figures. Swingman Janar Soo (199-91) answered with 22 points and point guard Rait-Riivo Laane (179-93) added 6 points and 5 assists in the effort for Rapla. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games.
