Very predictable result in Valladolid where seventh ranked Cajasol (17-13) beat bottom-ranked Blancos de Rueda (7-23) 77-72. American-Bulgarian guard Earl Calloway (191-83, college: Indiana) notched 10 points and 5 assists to lead the effort and Serbian forward Luka Bogdanovic (210-85, agency: Beo Basket) supported him with 13 points. Four Cajasol players scored in double figures. Cajasol's coach Joan Plaza allowed to play the deep bench players in such tough game. Even 12 points and 7 rebounds by forward Nacho Martin (205-83) did not help to save the game for Blancos de Rueda. American center Curtis Borchardt (211-80, college: Stanford) added 11 points and 9 rebounds. Cajasol have a solid four-game winning streak. They moved-up to fifth place, which they share with Gescrap BB and Lagun Aro GBC. Blancos de Rueda at the other side stay dead last with 23 lost games. Cajasol's next round opponent will be higher ranked Valencia Basket (#4) at home and it may be quite challenging game. Blancos de Rueda will play against Gran Canaria 2014 (#15) in Las Palmas.
