Asseco Prokom earned the starting win against AZS Koszalin. The hosts were tied at the half but managed to speed up in last two quarters eventually winning the game. AZS Koszalin was plagued by 28 personal fouls down the stretch. The former international swingman Przemyslaw Frasunkiewicz (202-79) stepped up and scored 17 points (on 7-of-9 shooting from the field) for the winners and Lithuanian power forward Donatas Motiejunas (213-90, agency: Interperformances) chipped in 15 points and 7 rebounds. At the losing side international guard Piotr Pamula (195-90) responded with 20 points and American guard J.J. Montgomery (196-82, college: Arkansas St.) scored 11 points and 6 rebounds. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games.
