Third ranked Avantazh-Politekhnik (28-8) crushed at home 7th ranked Koksokh-Stal (15-21) by 59 points 125-66, which is the biggest margin this round. It ended at the same time the five-game winning streak of Koksokh-Stal. The game without a history. Avantazh-Politekhnik led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They dominated on the defensive end, holding Koksokh-Stal to just 4 points in first quarter. Avantazh-Politekhnik dominated down low during the game scoring 72 of its points in the paint compared to Koksokh-Stal's 50. They outrebounded Koksokh-Stal 45-25 including a 34-17 advantage in defensive rebounds. Avantazh-Politekhnik shot the lights out from three nailing 12 long-distance shots on high 54.5 percentage. Their players were unselfish on offense dishing 29 assists comparing to just 9 passes made by Koksokh-Stal's players. Worth to mention a great performance of the former international guard Timur Arabadzhi (192-81) who helped to win the game recording a triple-double by scoring 34 points (!!!), 11 rebounds and 10 assists (on 14-of-16 shooting from the field). Forward Anton Rochnyak (206-91) contributed with a double-double by scoring 14 points and 12 rebounds for the winners. Swingman Boris Bereziuk (196-87) answered with 21 points and power forward Jan Selivanov (200-79) added 11 points and 8 rebounds in the effort for Koksokh-Stal. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Avantazh-Politekhnik maintains third place with 28-8 record behind leader VolinBasket. Koksokh-Stal at the other side keeps the seventh position with 21 games lost.
