Semi-Finals Game 3: Austin T. - Canton C. 90-68

The Austin Toros took the lead and never looked back, as they beat the Canton Charge, 90-68, on Sunday night at Cedar Park Center. The Toros advance to the NBA D-League finals for the first time since the 2007-08 season. The Toros jumped on top early, leading by as much as 11 points in the first quarter. They would take a 24-16 advantage heading into the second quarter. Austin’s lead mounted thanks in part to Cory Joseph’s nine points in the second quarter. They took a 46-33 lead into the halftime. The Toros took their largest lead of the game at 27 points in the third quarter. They would take a 73-48 lead into the fourth. Despite being outscored in the fourth quarter, the Toros held on to their lead to win the game. Both Julian Wright and Eric Dawson recorded double-doubles, Wright with 21 points and 10 rebounds and Dawson with 14 points and 17 rebounds. Joseph added 15 points and six assists. Antonio Agudio led the Charge in scoring with 16 points. Dante Milligan had a double-double with 12 points and 13 rebounds.
