The game without a history. Gorizont led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They dominated on the defensive end, holding Sozh Gomel to just 4 points in second quarter. Gorizont held Sozh Gomel to an opponent 20.8 percent shooting from the field compared to 60.0 percent accuracy of the winners. Gorizont forced 29 Sozh Gomel turnovers and outrebounded them 43-15 including a 29-10 advantage in defensive rebounds. Worth to mention a great performance of international forward Katerina Snytsina (188-85) who helped to win the game recording 15 points and 7 rebounds. International center Viktoriya Hasper (193-88) contributed with a double-double by scoring 12 points and 10 rebounds for the winners. Four Gorizont players scored in double figures. Gorizont's coach Anatoly Buyalskiy felt very confident using entire bench and allowed the starting five to rest. Forward Elena Gorelikova (178-92) answered with 13 points and guard Ekaterina Kondratenko (172-89) added 8 points in the effort for Sozh Gomel.
