The guests were tied at the half but managed to speed up in last two quarters eventually winning the game. Loimaan Korikonkarit made 19-of-22 free shots (86.4 percent) during the game. 27 personal fouls committed by Tampereen Pyrinto helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. Forward Matti Nuutinen (200-90) scored 39 points (!!!) and 7 rebounds (was perfect 8-for-8 from the free throw line) to lead the charge for the winners and American guard Jeb Ivey (190-80, college: Portland St.) chipped in 18 points and 5 assists during the contest.
