Semi-Finals Game 2: Monthey - Geneve Lions 70-55

Monthey levelled things up at 1-1 beating Geneve Lions in the second game of the series. It looked good early as Geneve Lions took an 6-point lead at the end of first quarter. But then Monthey had a 19-11 second period charge getting the lead and Geneve Lions were not able to take back game control losing it eventually 55-70. American swingman Ian Boylan (197-83, college: CS Northridge) orchestrated the victory by scoring 9 points, 7 rebounds, 9 assists and 4 steals. The other American import center Sean Finn (212-82, college: Dayton) contributed with a double-double by scoring 12 points and 13 rebounds for the winners. Senegalese power forward Babacar Toure (205-85) replied with a double-double by scoring 10 points and 13 rebounds and American power forward Erroyl Bing (198-82, college: E.Carolina) added 7 points and 12 rebounds in the effort for Geneve Lions. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games.
