The guests took control from the first minutes by winning first half. But Castelletto won fourth quarter 23-20. However it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Santarcangelo made 17-of-20 free shots (85.0 percent) during the game. They also forced 21 Castelletto turnovers. Strangely Castelletto outrebounded Santarcangelo 40-19 including a 13-2 advantage in offensive rebounds. The best player for the winners was guard Matteo Palermo (190-91) who scored 15 points and 4 steals. point guard Eugenio Rivali (178-86, agency: Two Points) chipped in 15 points and 4 assists. Center Matteo Raminelli (203-83) produced a double-double by scoring 20 points, 13 rebounds and 4 blocks and the former international swingman Simone Cotani (201-81) added 18 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists respectively for the hosts. Five Santarcangelo and four Castelletto players scored in double figures.
