The game without a history. Torpan Pojat led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They made 23-of-29 free shots (79.3 percent) during the game. Torpan Pojat forced 21 Joensuun Kataja turnovers and had a 30-15 advantage in offensive rebounds. It was a great shooting night for Torpan Pojat especially from behind the arc, where they had solid 60.0 percentage. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 21 assists. 27 personal fouls committed by Joensuun Kataja helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. It was a great evening for the former international power forward Hanno Mottola (209-76, college: Utah) who led his team to a victory scoring 18 points and 9 rebounds. Forward Carl Lindbom (206-91) helped adding 22 points (perfect behind the arc making all five shots). Four Torpan Pojat players scored in double figures. The best for the losing side was the former international power forward Sami Lehtoranta (205-79) with 13 points and American forward Jeremy Price (203-88, college: Georgia, agency: Strategic Sports) scored 14 points. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games.
