The game in Humacao was also worth to mention about. Third ranked Vaqueros (15-11) played at the court of 8th ranked Caciques (6-19). Vaqueros managed to secure a 5-point victory 87-82. The guests were ahead by 3 points but lost the second period ending it with a 3-point deficit before their 23-15 run, which allowed them to win the game. Four Vaqueros and five Caciques players scored in double figures. Vaqueros maintains third position with 15-11 record having three points less than leader Mayaguez. Caciques lost third consecutive game. They stay at the bottom place with 19 games lost. Vaqueros' next round opponent will be Capitanes (#4) in Arecibo. Caciques will play on the road against the league's second-placed Quebradillas (#2).
