The game without a history. Gorizont led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They dominated on the defensive end, holding Sozh Gomel to just 4 points in second quarter. Gorizont held Sozh Gomel to an opponent 20.0 percent shooting from the field compared to 45.2 percent accuracy of the winners. Gorizont forced 24 Sozh Gomel turnovers and outrebounded them 47-30 including 17 on the offensive glass. International center Maryna Ivashchanka (190-93) had a double-double by scoring 12 points and 10 rebounds to lead the charge for the winners and Russian-Ukrainian center Aleksandra Khomenchuk (200-89) chipped in 12 points and 8 rebounds during the contest.
