Quarter-Finals Round 3: AZS Koszalin - Asseco Prok. 86-81

AZS Koszalin held off Asseco Prokom at home court to narrow the deficit in the series. The hosts took control from the first minutes by winning first half. But Asseco Prokom won third quarter 28-21. However it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. The game was decided in the last minutes when AZS Koszalin won last quarter 21-17. They made 18-of-22 free shots (81.8 percent) during the game. It was a great evening for naturalized Croatian guard Igor Milicic (194-76, agency: Alti Sport) who led his team to a victory scoring 25 points, 7 rebounds and 4 assists (went 8 for 8 at the free throw line). The former international center Rafal Bigus (215-76, college: Villanova) helped adding 9 points and 9 rebounds. The best for the losing side was American guard Jerel Blassingame (175-81, college: UNLV) with 24 points and 5 assists and international center Adam Hrycaniuk (206-84, college: Cincinnati, agency: Alti Sport) produced a double-double by scoring 13 points and 11 rebounds. Asseco Prokom's coach tried various players' combinations and tested in total eleven players in this game, but that didn't help.
