Semi-Finals Game 4: ToPo - Kataja 66-85

Date: April 27, 2012
The game was mostly controlled by Joensuun Kataja. Torpan Pojat was better in fourth quarter 20-16. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. The winners were led by American swingman Jared Newson (195-84, college: Tenn-Martin, agency: Pro One Sports) who scored that evening 17 points and 7 rebounds and the former international power forward Sami Lehtoranta (205-79) supported him with 15 points and 5 rebounds. Four Joensuun Kataja players scored in double figures. Even 17 points by American forward Justin Hawkins (201-85, college: N.Mexico St., agency: Two Points) did not help to save the game for Torpan Pojat. His fellow American import swingman Ronald Clark (196-81, college: Colorado St., agency: Interperformances) added 10 points for lost side.
