Quarter-Finals Round 3: PGE Turow - Anwil 86-58

PGE Turow registered the second straight win over Anwil. The game was mostly controlled by PGE Turow. Anwil was better in third quarter 21-18. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. They outrebounded Anwil 35-24 including 26 on the defensive glass. It was a good game for Australian-Dutch center Daniel Kickert (208-83, college: St.Mary's, CA) who led his team to a victory with 19 points. American guard Ronald Moore (183-88, college: Siena) contributed with 11 points, 8 rebounds and 5 assists for the winners. The former international guard Krzysztof Szubarga (182-84) answered with 11 points, 5 rebounds and 5 assists and American power forward Corsley Edwards (205-79, college: Cent.Conn.St.) added 13 points in the effort for Anwil. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games.
