No shocking result in a game in Manila where first ranked Filipino Petron Blaze (16-4) defeated 6th ranked Thailand Bangkok Cobras (6-12) 91-77 on Saturday. The hosts trailed by 4 points after first quarter, but they stormed back to get the 6-point lead at the halftime and eventually won the game 91-77. Petron Blaze dominated down low during the game scoring 64 of its points in the paint compared to Bangkok Cobras' 44. Petron Blaze forced 22 Bangkok Cobras turnovers. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 22 assists. American forward Nick Fazekas (211-85, college: Nevada) fired a double-double by scoring 25 points and 15 rebounds for the winners.
