The hosts took control from the first minutes by winning the initial quarter 20-13. But Muggia won second period 16-11. However it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Milano forced 20 Muggia turnovers. Worth to mention a great performance of guard Michela Frantini (175-83) who helped to win the game recording 11 points and 7 rebounds. Forward Claudia Giunzioni (175-89) contributed with 14 points for the winners. Guard Annalisa Borroni (183-83) answered with 22 points and 8 rebounds and power forward Alice Palliotto (180-86) added 9 points and 15 rebounds in the effort for Muggia.
