It looked good early as S. La Spezia took an 2-point lead at the end of first quarter. But then Orvieto had a 20-12 second period charge getting the lead and S. La Spezia was not able to take back game control losing it eventually 54-58. Worth to mention a great performance of swingman Lisa Tripalo (180-87) who helped to win the game recording 8 points, 9 rebounds and 4 assists. International forward Francesca Mariani (188-85) contributed with 15 points and 5 rebounds for the winners. Serbian forward Marija Micovic (183-82, agency: Players Group) answered with 17 points and 8 rebounds and guard Sara De Scalzi (176-83) added 12 points and 11 rebounds in the effort for S. La Spezia.
