Start Gdynia claimed the second straight win in the semifinal series. The hosts were tied at the half but managed to speed up in last two quarters eventually winning the game. Start Gdynia forced 22 MKS Znicz Basket turnovers and outrebounded them 35-19 including 24 on the defensive glass. Great defensive blocking was one of the keys in this match when Start Gdynia made 8 blocks. The former international swingman Mateusz Kostrzewski (201-89) had a double-double by scoring 24 points and 11 rebounds to lead the charge for the winners and forward Tomasz Wojdyla (201-77) chipped in 12 points and 7 rebounds during the contest. Start Gdynia's coach Pawel Turkiewicz used a ten-player rotation in such tough game.
