Quarter-Finals Round 4: PGE Turow - Anwil 96-92

PGE Turow defeated Anwil to reach semifinals. The hosts took control from the first minutes by winning first half. But Anwil won third quarter 33-29. However it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. PGE Turow made 20-of-22 charity shots (90.9 percent) during the game. It was a very good performance for American guard David Jackson (193-86, college: W.Illinois) who helped to win the game recording 26 points (made all of his eight free throws). The former international power forward Damian Kulig (205-87) contributed with 16 points for the winners. PGE Turow's coach Jacek Winnicki allowed to play the deep bench players in such tough game. International guard Dardan Berisha (192-88, agency: INVICTUS Sports Group) replied with 23 points and the former international guard Krzysztof Szubarga (182-84) added 14 points and 4 assists in the effort for Anwil. Five PGE Turow and four Anwil players scored in double figures.
