Semi-Finals Game 1: BC Donetsk - Ferro-ZNTU 96-94 OT

BC Donetsk needed overtime to defeat ambitious Ferro-ZNTU at home court in the opener. Ferro-ZNTU was trailing by 1 point at halftime but managed to get 1-point lead after three quarters before a 20-19 charge of BC Donetsk, which allowed them to tie the game at the end of regular time. They were better in overtime eventually winning that period 13-11. BC Donetsk outrebounded Ferro-ZNTU 55-31 including a 23-10 advantage in offensive rebounds. American guard Ramel Curry (192-80, college: CSU Bakersfield) fired 19 points and 9 rebounds for the winners. FYR Macedonian guard Vojdan Stojanovski (193-87) chipped in 19 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists. American guard Randy Culpepper (182-89, college: UTEP) produced 26 points and 4 steals and the other American import forward Vincent Hunter (208-84, college: Arkansas) added 19 points, 10 rebounds and 4 blocks respectively for lost side. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures.
