Semi-Finals Game 3: Kalev/Cramo - Tarvas 91-69

Date: May 1, 2012
Kalev/Cramo swept the semifinal series versus Tarvas. It looked good early as BC Rakvere took an 4-point lead at the end of first quarter. But then Kalev/Cramo had a 16-10 second period charge getting the lead and BC Rakvere was not able to take back game control losing it eventually 69-91. It was a good game for Belarusian power forward Pavel Ulyanko (204-79) who led his team to a victory with 20 points. The former international guard Tanel Sokk (184-85) contributed with 16 points for the winners. Latvian point guard Rinalds Sirsnins (186-85, agency: Promotex) answered with 15 points and 6 assists and Latvian center Kaspars Cipruss (210-82, agency: Interperformances) added 16 points and 6 rebounds in the effort for BC Rakvere. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Since the result was very predictable, it gave the chance for the coaches to test many bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games.
