The hosts took control from the first minutes by winning first half. But Matera won fourth quarter 17-13. However it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. The best player for the winners was swingman Giovanni Rugolo (196-81) who scored 21 points and 7 rebounds. Swingman Ivan Scarponi (196-86) chipped in 10 points and 7 rebounds. At the other side the best for losing team was naturalized Argentinian guard Sebastian Vico (190-86, agency: Players Group) who recorded 4 points and 14 rebounds and guard Gianni Cantagalli (196-88, agency: Players Group) added 14 points and 5 rebounds respectively.
