The guests took control from the first minutes by winning first half. But Tampereen Pyrinto won fourth quarter 24-21. However it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Torpan Pojat players were unselfish on offense dishing 21 assists. Tampereen Pyrinto was plagued by 27 personal fouls down the stretch. American forward Justin Hawkins (201-85, college: N.Mexico St., agency: Two Points) notched 34 points (!!!), 8 rebounds and 9 assists to lead the effort and forward Carl Lindbom (206-91) supported him with 21 points and 7 rebounds. Even 27 points and 7 rebounds by American forward Antwine Williams (192-75, college: N.Colorado, agency: Prossin Sports Management) did not help to save the game for Tampereen Pyrinto. His fellow American import forward Damon Williams (201-73, college: Colorado St.-Pueblo, agency: Two Points) added 17 points and 9 rebounds for the hosts. Four Tampereen Pyrinto players scored in double figures. Tampereen Pyrinto's coach rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help.
