Semi-Finals Game 1: Groningen - Den Bosch 67-54

The game was mostly controlled by Groningen. Den Bosch was better in third quarter 18-10. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. They outrebounded Den Bosch 43-28 including a 35-23 advantage in defensive rebounds. Surinamese forward Sergio de Randamie (201-84, college: Houston, agency: R.H.Consultancy) stepped up and scored 6 points, 8 rebounds and 5 assists for the winners and American power forward Avis Wyatt (211-84, college: Virginia St.) chipped in 11 points and 7 rebounds. At the losing side international forward Stefan Wessels (203-84, agency: R.H.Consultancy) responded with a double-double by scoring 12 points and 10 rebounds and American forward Tai Wesley (200-86, college: Utah St.) scored 12 points and 5 rebounds. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games.
