The game without a history. Grodno-93 led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They held Sozh Gomel to an opponent 22.6 percent shooting from the field compared to 57.8 percent accuracy of the winners and made 19-of-24 charity shots (79.2 percent) during the game. Grodno-93 forced 27 Sozh Gomel turnovers and outrebounded them 46-27 including a 39-18 advantage in defensive rebounds. Their players were unselfish on offense dishing 21 assists comparing to just 3 passes made by Sozh Gomel's players. Swingman Evgeni Ivanov (202-84) nailed 19 points and 7 rebounds (on 8-of-10 shooting from the field) for the winning side and Ukrainian center Vadim Matyukevych (208-80) accounted for 10 points and 6 rebounds. Four Grodno-93 players scored in double figures. Grodno-93's coach Andrei Vasileuka felt very confident that he used entire bench which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games.
