The game without a history. San Martino led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They dominated on the defensive end, holding Marghera to just 5 points in second quarter. San Martino held Marghera to an opponent 22.0 percent shooting from the field compared to 61.5 percent accuracy of the winners. San Martino forced 28 Marghera turnovers and outrebounded them 35-15 including a 24-10 advantage in defensive rebounds. It was a good game for the former international power forward Martina Sandri (185-88) who led her team to a victory with 14 points and 9 rebounds. Guard Maria Pegoraro (174-89) contributed with 11 points, 5 rebounds and 8 assists for the winners.
