UMKS Kielce surprised PWiK Piaczno on the road. The guests took control from the first minutes by winning first half. But PWiK Piaseczno won third quarter 24-20. However it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. The game was decided in the last minutes when UMKS Kielce won last quarter 23-19. They also forced 19 PWiK Piaseczno turnovers. Great defensive blocking was one of the keys in this match when UMKS Kielce made 12 blocks. Center Dariusz Wyka (207-91) fired a double-double by scoring 28 points and 10 rebounds for the winners. Swingman Marcin Wrobel (200-87) chipped in 17 points and 6 rebounds. Four UMKS Kielce players scored in double figures. Center Wojciech Bocianowski (206-86, college: Caldwell) produced 19 points and 4 steals and guard Dominik Majewski (185-83) added 19 points and 4 blocks respectively for lost side. PWiK Piaseczno's coach rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help.
